What is usually done is that they change the bellhousing of the QR25's tranny to the VQ35's and use the QR25's tranny internals.....

This is one of our older swaps, from about 3 years ago.. Still running strong. :)

Its still only going to be ~350lbs lighter than a 5-speed VQ35 Altima. I've owned one of each.
