@tudythegangster No I have not played it yet. I'm just judging from the view. And the roads and the menu really look exactly the same like in Burnout 3.

All cars do feel similar to some degree,
I reckon they should make a game like this slightly less arcadey, and a bit more realistic so you feel you are driving real life cars,

if you guys are to young to remember this game on sony playstation this is a remake kind of it is no way similar to burnout if anything burnout is similar to need for speed hot pursuit

i have the game finally, only problem, it is a dead game. there is no story whatso ever, to motivate me to keep playing. i never realized how important a background story in a game is till now.

The reason the game doesn't have a cockpit view is because it's a arcade racer, and arcade racers and cockpit views does not mix. They tried that with Midnight Club Los Angeles, and it was unbearable. The truth of the matter is, arcade racers are just too insane and crazy to have cockpit first person views. If they had a cockpit in this game, it'll pretty much taint the whole atmosphere and experience. So yeah, leave the cockpit cameras to the Racing Sims.
