he was under great pressure,its the same thing with the politics,if they found someone important,they give him great pressure to confuse him,times like the sengoku period were very dificult,it was hard to maintain the life and the emotions

@calamitus6000 considering Ieyasu just closed his borders and then just used all the systems set in place by Hideyoshi before hand I doubt Mitsunari could have fucked up that badly the better question is, would Mitsunari have left japan in such a state that the american's would continiously bugger them i nthe future!
