Great rock band from the 70's, had a reunion last March 2009. This band is very under rated. We had a blast and it brought back wonderful memories of my young rock and roll years.

  • Wow, where did you get this? Where did this took place? Was Floyd Radford here? It sure sounded exactly like the record - esp. the guitar solo. Anymore?

  • It was Tin House Reunion in Oviedo Florida few weeks ago. Yes Floyd Radford was playing the lead, with a sun burst shirt. Got lucky to go back stage so all you see are their backs. Just ran out battery and I could have taped all their songs. Wish they will play again soon. One of my favorite rock bands.

cANNOT REMEMBER IF I WAS THERE R NOT!

AH THE GOOD OLE DAYS :-))

  • oh god, i cannot believe that, a tin house reunion!!! they only have one album, right?

  • tin house rules...

  • While judging guitarists is always a bad game, Hannah was considered perhaps the best to have developed in local bands from that era. Very good teacher too. I think Hannah was originally from California (San Fran?), & eventually settled for a while in WH. (He later worked as a horticulturalist in Cypress Gardens I think!) Danny Roberts (Mudcrutch) & Rat Rhodes completed the Power Trio. I think I saw Hannah play his very last solo guitar gig at a motel bar on W. Hwy 192 back in 1972.

  • Don Hannah! Power! - Wow - there are some names I have forgotten. That would be a great album to release on a small label. He was from Winter Haven I think. I am from WH also. Saw Mike Pinera with Blues Image in Tampa once and Iron Butterfly in Ft Lauderdale in the 80's.

Les still plays, saw him a few years ago at Tanner's in Lakeland, fucking loud as hell in a 40 x 80 room. Chris Teisinger from WH on bass . Great show.

  • Thanks, theean. Les Dudek--of course! He took over lead guitar duties for Power when Don "Dumptruck" Hannah parted from the group, and like Radford, nearly (or rather, did) disappear from the Rock scene. And of course Tin House DOES have a new music disc out, and it is available for purchase on-line. I hope it has enough sales to give them some recognition. Power had quite a following, & supposedly cut an album's worth of tracks in New York, but failed to land a big deal with a major label.

  • Is saw Tin House at Gimme Shelter in Orlando many, many . . . many years ago - I want your body, you won't be sorry!

  • The guy from A'dale is Les Dudek and he played in a band called Black Rose with Cher singing lead vocals. A clip of them on the Mike Douglas Show is here on YouTube.

  • I could tell it was Radford from just looking at the way he bounced his head around--it was his style. Nice lead break. It would be nice if some major metal/rock group would pick them up for a tour--they seem to have a lot of respect for those who led the way. What about rumors of a release of new material? Central Florida in the mid-to-late 1960's was a hotbed for blues-based guitarists like Radford, Pinnerra, Hannah, and that guy from Auburndale who is better known for having dated Cher.
