We now have footage on the Bala Lake Railway. Unfortunately I could only record up to the point I reached the half way point at Llangower station as I ran out of space on the camera. I also couldn't record footage of the Welsh Highland Railway as I left the camera behind in Rhyl when I went there.

Before this line was rebuilt as a narrow gauge line in 1972, it was originally a standard gauge route of the GWR that connected with the Ffestiniog Railway at Blaenau Ffestiniog that closed in 1960 to passengers and freight in 1961.
