United Way's "Restore The Dream"

United Way of Metropolitan Nashville sends our prayers and thoughts to all affected by the flood disaster.

Calls to United Ways 2-1-1 Help Line surged to more than four times normal volume from the day the rain began on May 1, 2010 through the following week.

Calls to the hotline are expected to grow as disaster response enters the restoration phase.

United Way of Metropolitan Nashville invests in partner first responders like American Red Cross, The Salvation Army and Second Harvest in a substantial way.

Restore The Dream Fund, established in 1999, supports nonprofit agencies during and after disasters.

You can help. Give what you can -- $10, $100, or $1,000.
