Diddy Kong Racing Walkthrough Pt 39: Sherbet Island Trophy Race

This is a difficult Trophy Race. Whale Bay is the hardest race here due to the severe lack of bananas around the course. Because of this, your opponents will pretty much always be faster than you unless you go out of your way to get bananas (which you shouldn't). Instead, stick to using the zippers and do the best you can. Fortunately, since it's the first race, you can restart without losing much if you get too far behind.

The other three races have a tough first lap until you pick up several bananas to make the second two laps easy. Treasure Caves can be a bit of a hellhole unless you pick up a good amount of bananas on the first lap. It's a short course and there isn't a lot of time to pick yourself up if you fall back. Zippers are your friend :)
