  • One day I must return I cry To breath sweet Cymru's air I vow I'll go before I die To a land that's sweet and fair To hear that ancient tongue once more The invaders could not quell I yearn to cross that rocky shore Sing the songs I love so well Aled ap Huw Oct 2010

  • I'm so lucky I'm coming to Wales next year for student exchange!!! :)

  • I've been away from home for many years and still yet get the 'longing' to return. The older I get the stronger the calling

  • @iankieran1 I was just going to write the same thing as you.but you beat me to it,I also come from Treherbert,I love this short film, especially seeing them all singing in the street, and everyone came out to listen,as they would.I was also going ot say I am so proud, but you said that too, anyway we can both be proud, cant we ?

  • this was filmed in treorci ,i live in treherbert and am so proud to be from the Rhondda

  • How can any welshman not be moved by such a beautiful song. I`m welsh and I love my country

  • played this at dads funeral, so beautiful so sad

  • *wipes away tear* so proud to be welsh ty for posting xxxx

  • This is simply wonderful. I really like the ending when the householders appear at their doors. Since moving to Wales I have learned to love male voice choirs and I really think this is the best one, even though I live in North Wales. It is a pity more young men do not join the choirs.

  • where was this filmed in the Rhondda? as i was born in the Rhondda in Gelli

  • A beautiful song, and this is my favourite rendition. I love the cumulative appearance of the choir. Great video, too.
