Wonderful!!!! These guys were surely the epitome of great rock and roll! These days Don takes great liberties with the original melodies (and who can blame him?) but here it's still quite new and they're still promoting the record! I saw this exact band on their UK tour (1960?) and I floated home as if on air.... I hadn't seen anything so good since the Lonnie Donegan shows I'd seen a year or two earlier.

I love all the Everly's songs ... but this is my favorite. They had such great "sing along" songs. Fifty years later, I still try to sing with Phil and find myself slipping into Don's part. LOL

@RogerBarrettLives Of course I understand. And I like the Beatles, too! But one idea I had when I signed up for youtube was to play "Music I don't hear on my radio" - And that certainly can't be said about the Beatles, at least not in our area. But the Everlys - that's a different story, unfortunately. I love the Everlys' music, and I wish our stations would play them more.
