"Danny's Song" written by Kenny Loggins, first appeared on Sittin' In, the debut album by singer-songwriters, Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina, released in 1971 on the Columbia Records. It was later released on CD on the Sony label. The song was a big hit for Anne Murray in1972. The personnel on the original recording were: Kenny Loggins - vocals, guitar, harmonica, Jim Messina - vocals, bass guitar, Lester "Al" Garth - violin, recorder, saxophone, steel drum, background vocals, Michael Omartian - concertina, keyboards, steel drum, Jon Clarke - horn, oboe, saxophone, steel drum, Larry Sims - bass instrument, background vocals, Merel Bregante - drums, background vocals, and Milt Holland -- percussion.

same then i heard it at mcdoandls during a night wer i skipped bio lecture for fries lol and i was like oooh! s i wrote down a part of lyrics while listening in.. and found it and was like YESS!!!
