  • Now some company need to make another mirrorless system, a rangefinder, cheaper than Leica.

  • @winkalman Leica is another universe, it doesn't really count.

  • @thehalflifedude That's not true.

  • lol i will not pay 1600 for this cam i rather just get a m8 for 2000ish.

  • @farturas81 dslr's are excellent for filming video. instead of screaming like a madman you should just go on youtube and search for a video where they use manual focus instead.

  • @farturas81

I'm making fun of your English, the irony is that you're complaining about completely trivial matters whilst making many trivial mistakes in your grammar and terminology.

  • @thehalflifedude No gimmick. You'd be surprised how many studios use Canon EOS550/600's for their professional video work. Rigged out with all the professional accessories, they perform fantastic. Check out some of the 1080p videos from our local TV Channel on Youtube: 'phuketbesttv' They use mainly Canon EOS550's

  • @geoffphuket

Sure, but of course as you said it's an enthusiast\consumer gimmick. If you're a professional and you need video functionality you wouldn't use a photography camera, you'd use a video camera is what I'm saying.

  • @thehalflifedude No true professional photographer would be seen dead with a Fuji camera anyway! To compete with the likes of Canon, Nikon... and even Sony in the 'enthusiast' market, the video facility (1920 x 1080 Full HD) on this model, needs a microphone socket. It's now a major selling point and will certainly lose them sales.
