Geez Thomas Wayne, why the hell did you antagonize the guys with the guns?

Begins may be more emotional but Burton's scene has it as an eerie and chilling murder that haunted Batman. Nolan's movies are more like watching a graphic novel and Burton's movies are like watching a comic book with all the "pow!" "biff!" and "bam!"

i think begins was a better way to show how bruces parents were killed.

Hell yeah! Batman Begins adds a layer of guilt to the iconic moment that has never been dreamed of. It's not, "Hey, we left the movie, oh crap, Joe Chill's shooting us!", it's, "Hey Bruce, we left the opera early because of you...who's that with the gun?" Oh, and the Joker didn't shoot Martha and thomas Wayne, as depicted in the 1989 version...whoops...

yeah begins followed the comics, joe chill was the one in the comics who killed his parents
