after effects is better for all that 3d animation and effects...i think for an editor sony vegas is better

yeah that's a problem but this shot is very difficult to track. you nearly have got only moving trees and nothing that's really stationary and that has got high contrast and is in the frame all the time

after effects isn't for editing. Just effects on each individual clip. You should use them both at the same time. It's nearly impossible to make a full movie using only after effects.

Adobe After Effects is better and yes it does export in HD.
