this is a pretty old vid, and I don't remember how i've done it ^^but I think somewhere in the configuration file or something like that i chanched the pixel depth *or something like that* from 32 bits to 16 bits

Excuse me but you're comparing a card from 2003 with a card from 2008 and i'm crazy?Try to compare then Lada niva 1992 and BMW X5,.LOL. Just to remind you that fx5200 is a low-end card from year 2003 , so its purpose isn't to impress.I also had 5900ultra back then and it was more than playable with 70-80+ fps most of the time , so it could definitely hit 100+ fps sometimes and with better processor and more ram it will definitely do better.So this dispute is foolish.So long S

Dude you have some mental issues.

Actually the game probably runs smoother without FRAPS , and as I can see the processor is slow , so it affects the frame rate a lot.My old old old Fx5200 ran Fear pretty good on low/medium details , so 5700 should do better.

@wdowa94 Try setting the options all to "LOW" and use Direct X 8 shaders (All gefore FX cards suck with shader model 2.0 (DX 9) so trust me YOU WANT to do this.)
