Great woman, great American, too bad there are so many people who just don't get it. The United States is the new Rome and like the Rome of old it's being destroyed from within and the people are too dumb ed down to understand what is going on in front of their very eyes. In other words, no efforts were incorporated to create a strong active political base through well attended events like what Cynthia McKinney's appearance could have become. Otherwise, the Pima County Green Party would actually be an effective party instead of relatively ineffectual group.

You make a good point. I was there that day. Your comment is pointing out the shortcomings of the local Green Party in Pima County, Arizona. As part of concerted effort to remove the teeth from the organization, full emphasis and resources were used to gather petition signatures for ballot status. No efforts have been used to accommodate speaking engagements that may educate and inspire voters to work with the Green Party.
