My main concern is: Why arent any poletitions talking about overpopulation. Its the biggest problem we are facing. I guess they fear its somehow popiticaly incorect? I guess its radical, but our future would be much brighter if someone were to put a global 1 child limit.

We are heading towards oblivion as a species and a planet, and nothing will happen. Humans don't work as one. They never will. If a comet was heading for earth as Prof Richard was saying, we would'nt pull together. At no time in history has this happened. The closest we ever got was in the world wars. No we are ALL GOING TO DIE AND SO WHAT, HUMANS ARE DEAD. LONG LIVE THE EARTH.

I was particularly interested in Dawkins remark towards the selfish gene. I believe this is the first step towards all the goals that were mentioned in this debate. What a treat I found while randomly clicking about I shall forward this to others.
