Madaraka Day is our national day of which we respect.

Perhaps you don't have any words to express yourself, I see you write very good English yourself. Why don't you write in Swahili? If I understand you better.

Tillia87, Please dont pretend that you dont know your language. Use kiswahili your national language dont use somebody else language!! Otherwise nobody will ever give you respect.

English is the official language while Kiswahili is the national language.

Kenya Has English and Swahili as our official languages, it simply means that for the government to act officially, it must communicate in both languages. It means that both are languages of record, and that no one has a right to demand government services in any other language.
