Great Spotted Woodpecker & Green Woodpecker

The beautiful woodpeckers come to my garden in all seasons.These captures are a collection of them over a period of time. The peanuts are a hot favourite in my garden. But sometimes the squirrels get there first and the woodpeckers mostly get only a second chance.
The Green Woodpecker is an awesome visitor to my garden and digging away for ages and not in a hurry to go and it is fascinating to watch them.

Love to watch woodpeckers... The spotted is a pretty big one and have such a colorful plumage and so cute manners... :) The green one I remember very well - it is such a lovely bird and still keeps digging...:) It's such a pleasure to visit your garden and watch your visitors...
