A hilarious promo directed at 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper with some blatant hard-cuts that were obviously added in to disguise some rather explicit (but hilarious) innuendo from Goldust.

This feud, between Piper and Goldust, was added to the Wrestlemania XII card at the eleventh hour. It was originally supposed to be a culmination of the feud with Razor Ramon, but Scott Hall left for WCW, and the rest is history.

Man, I forgot how edgy these promos were, and not just for the time. I mean, this is really over the top stuff. And this was in early 1996 when they were still trying to be family friendly. Of course, this is what happened when WCW provided competition, even before the NWO. There's also another promo I was looking for, where Goldust is in a studio backlot with a Piper mannequin. He feels it up and they do the same jump cuts to edit out the "naughtiest" parts.

dustin was so over wish he was champ back then least for a while but times were diffrent then nd winning the belt actually menat something. He is more over here than 3/4 of the wwe roster today. They kiddified his gimmick but tbh the whole WWE was getting kiddified at the time. Marilyn Dust was a brilliant concept. The two are a lot alike. Nd no one could say dusty was gay cos he had a smoking hot bitch in Marlena at his side.This is the genius of Mcmahon at work.
