ROBO-ONE Masters Techniques: OmniZero

OmniZero, created by Maeda-san, is one of the top ROBO-ONE robots and consistently racks up high scores in all the competitions it enters. The ROBO-ONE Special event, held August 6, 2006 in Kawasaki was an excellent chance for Maeda to show off Omnizero and some of the amazing technology that has gone into the creation of the robot. Is Asimo to heavy to compete in Robo-One?

Yes. Asimo is definitely too heavy, and too expensive to compete in ROBO-ONE events. If he falls down and breaks something it costs a fortune to repair. Honda typically charges exhibitions or museums about $5,000 per day just to rent Asimo for a few performances.

Omnizero is one of the best out there. I just got into this and already he's my favorite. Only my favorite design is 2. I don't really like 4 that much...
