  • I need to get swivels! Also, need some stage balls. They're so neat. I'm using dogballs on mine, but I wanna see what the stage-balls are all about.

  • I wouldn't recommend this set up if you are going to be doing contact stuff. But they are good for just spinning, tosses, and orbitals.

  • I have some rope monkey fists that have colecord and they're bomb-diggity for orbitals. I'm using climbing rope on my dogballs, and aside from slightly fraying, they're doing pretty good. Colecord just seems more suited for the swivels though...

  • True! But yes, most def get the contact juggling balls for heads!

  • nice, i am curious to making new poi.

Im curious of the colcords though, are the good for butterfloops and orbits/airwraps and such?

i want to make some poi that has a skinny midsection unlike sock poi or so and colcords been one of my main ideas.

I also thought it was funny how you hid the trash under the furniture and then commented over it while i was thinking bout it.

  • Did i ever get back to you about colecord?

  • I use 1 pair of knee socks and 2 balls - pushed to the toe. Pinky balls, tennis balls, whiffle balls, all work well. Super easy & fast. Work perfectly. Cheap enough to give away whenever someone shows promise.

  • Haha

  • Yes I do in fact like the way you hide trash under your ottoman.

  • I prefer a single colecord for each poi, it's easyer for wrapping / orbitals and super-uber-duper-loops :)

  • B4 cutting the Slit drill 2 small holes @ the to become end of the slit !

this will prevent the slit from ripping all the way across.

  • You can also cut a small slit about the size of a dime in the ball and use a set of needle nose pliers to put the Knot at the end of the cole cord in it works well and you don't have to cut a bit slit in the ball at the bottom :-D

  • hey dude just one point there is no need to cut a slot in the ball just the hole that is just slightly larger than the cord then tie a knot in the cord add some vaseline to the hole and slowly push the knot through

  • no

hows the spinning been going? i started a new job and been working alot of late hours and such and havent had much time to spin.

I do here and there but not nearly enough as i should or to progress.

but my hours will ease up soon and i will venture back into the world of poi

  • Yeah. If you use climbing rope, instead of colecord, and a juggling club knob instead of the wooden ball handle. it works better for contact stuff.

  • Are these the same kind of poi that ppl use when doing contact ball/ poi tricks where they roll the head down their arm and then catch the handle? I've been wondering for a while how to get/make them and this is the closest thing I have found to that.

  • ok so those are the random ball poi i kept seeing poping up all over the place. i feel like I'm the last to know everything. :P thanks for the vid. oh and way to push the HoP code, i need to start doing that when i get the chance *cough "joshua31" cough* I just never know where to put it.
