Regional High Score Ladders and Game Center Support
Phoenix can use location information to build regional high scores rankings, so you can compare scores with other players in your vicinity. Become the best player in your city, province, country and continent! Phoenix also includes Game Center support to compare your score with those of your friends.

Plenty of Weapons and Power-ups
Both the player and the enemies have a large variety of different weapons at their disposal, each with their own characteristics. Alongside the weapons there are a plethora of power-ups to provide that extra edge needed to overcome the hardest challenges. long after you have stopped playing.

Love this game sooo much. The new update is awesome - those exploding balls of bullets are as hard as hell!

Such a great game to pick up and play although it helps to have a bit of focus.There is great in-game guide and a faq on their site. now slowdown on my iph4+ it looks wicked - esp motion blurred background. nice game for people with attention problems as it will keep your focus trust me! It is challenging but it works in a way that depends on how u play

I think it needs more content past 2 mill+ as it repeats quite often? also pause button is tiny! maybe remove finger to pause option? :)

I bought this game a few weeks back - been playing it competitively with some of my mates - currently i reckon the best game (out the hundreds i've tried) on the iphone and for 59p!

followed by boost3d/tilt to live/canabalt/deathworm+smw/re­ckless racing/cubed racer/ jet car stunts/streets of rage now that it has co-op also sonic 2 ..and try zombie highway, truckers delight and Mr Bill for great arcade games too.

back to phoenix - just grab it if you want to try a great sh'mup! no chars rem :(
