Good Morning America's weekend team spent a day at Camp Jam Rock 'n Roll Summer Camp in Philadelphia this past summer. In 2007 Camp Jam Rock N Roll Summer Camp will take place in 14 cities.

no you do NOT need to bring an amp, they got the heavy lifting there the amps, the drums, etc, and they have some spare guitars and bass in case you break a string, witch they DO replace, thats what they are payed for.

I would go to PCA, but then I'd have to travel halfway across the country. hahah Camp Jam is about fun, but Power Chord Academy is more serious. I would go to either one (and, TBH, I prefer PCA), but since CJ is in my state, I'm going to CJ.
