  • Hey jus got the T3 can you guys tell me what is the best and affordable lens for hd video. i will be using it mostly for video.

  • @infamoussouth The kit lens in my opinion is actually a very decent lens. If you're looking for a better lens, then I suggest you go to several stores that sell lenses to check out as many as you can. This will give you knowledge when it comes to buying a new lens. There are many different lenses out there, and it really depends on what kind of video you will be taking (example: close up, far away, people, nature, etc).

  • hey i really need help. i just got this camera today and im soooo clueless! lol. the images/video is blurry and the closer i get to something the blurrier it gets

  • @omgitsvictoriaxD You have to adjust the focus on the camera as you change the distance between what you are trying to capture, and the the camera itself. If you want automatic focus, there is a switch on the lens that makes the lens focus automatically on an object when you press the shutter down half way.

  • how do you focus on video mode?

  • @MonicaPhuongLy You can use the focus ring on the lens as you do to focus on an object when taking a picture. Or, you can set it to auto-focus where the lens will focus by itself.

  • wow, this is fantastic. im thinking about getting this camera and i was worried that the standard kit lens would be shit. but im pleasantly suprised. :)

  • @Mandeologul I'm 90% sure you can. I'll get back to you on that one later on today.

  • can you lock the exposure while filming?

  • @jurj1 hey i don#t wanna bother you but do you think I should buy this camera with 2 lenses or the Nikon D3100 with just the kit?
