It's kinda silly though that you are on the russian team and you can hear the americans calling in the airstrike, you actually hear the pilot too, crank up the volume :)

even if you can't call it... it's a good detail, like in other maps MIG's pass shooting, and the cutscenes when you win/loose a game

@1curis My bad, its actually to stave off the advance, the Americans are defending in this map.

@DaGamer916 It happens automatically to "clear the road" for the advance onto the harbor. Russians don't have A-10s, its the Americans.

The A-10 Warthog strafing run is merely intended for show (Signifies that a base has been lost or gained). It belongs to the U.S Army, and in this map (Port Valdez) after the U.S loses the second base in Rush mode (I think it's the 2nd, I haven't played in a while) two A-10's come in firing to try to slow down the advancing Russians.

While they don't damage soldiers, they actually do destroy unmanned vehicles.

Some people claimed that in the beta the A10's could kill people :/.

why did they remove the airstrike on bc2? i mean they have it in bc1 ! guided incoming missile !

Instead of artillery strike, we should've been able to call in A-10 strafing runs in multiplayer, THEN will this game be the absolute best FPS game ever!
