VidCon 2011: Do's and Don'ts

I had the pleasure of going to VidCon 2011 at the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel and meet some of my favorite You Tubers. However, it was not so simple at first to communicate with not just famous You Tubers, but anyone at all. I was lucky enough to have stumbled upon Michael Buckley from WhattheBuck in an elevator and been recognized by him later while I was searching for a place to eat to which I accompanied him and met other You Tubers during our meal. This helped gain a bit of confidence but I was not able to talk much still because I did not know what to talk about. This was proven later in the afternoon when we met up with Charlieissocool like and I didn't even try to talk to him. However, as time went by I began to talk to other You Tubers whom I had met on the internet and started getting confident enough to go and talk to some people. This is how I began talking to gwatsky and Kyle Sibert which in the end was a pretty interesting experience.

That was just a complementary story to my tips on this video, even though the tips seem a bit obviousm in practice, they are a bit more difficult to execute. However, none of these You Tubers will take a bite of your hand if you speak to them, as long as you don't aproach them when they are heading to the bathroom to urinate, which, if you think about it, is something that anyone would do in that situation.
