@yomama629. If the MLS got rid of their cap, they would. I think two players on each team are uncapped (?) That's why players like Henry and Beckam are some of the top paid players in the MLS. Get rid of the cap = better talent. Many players want to live in the US anyway. The MLS is young, give it time. What does that mean? Think abou it, how many basketball leagues outside of the USA can compete with the NBA? exactly.

@dillucinate they have a cap so they dont go into debt like has happened in europe, its a young league which uses knowledge of the leagues round the world. dont get rid of the cap, other european leagues need to get a cap, earning 5m+ a year because you are good at football?

@dillucinate, The MLS can and will grow, but no matter how big it gets, it will never have one thing that the top European Leagues have. That's right, a prestigious international tournament such as the UEFA Champion's League. Maybe if our league has teams that become strong enough, we can see our clubs in the Copa Libertadores, but that still doesn't compare. And Concacaf Champions League?? hahaha

I said that the WHOLE World Cup had a CUMMULATIVE audience of 38 BILLION. n other words, if you add up the audience for every single match in the World Cup, you get 38 billion. You get it now? The final itself attracted 1.2 billion viewers
