On this video I show you how things are going to stay inside the fuselage before I glue it!

Next will be some photos of the final product!

Enjoy

  • very good job! can you show/tell how you split the fuselage?

  • @cristache1234 Sure! If you buy the KIT version of the Bixler the fuselage will come like that! Not much of a secret! You can see it on the unboxing video of the airplane!

  • Maybe it's from my motor prop combo

  • Yeah, but on a 1800mAh you should be in the air longer than that .... Maybe your batteries are shot.

1800mAh means you can deliver 1.8A for 1 hour .... then you have a running current of ~5amps. So this means ~.36 hour or 21.6 minutes of flight time..... Then to be careful say 18 minutes or so .... I don't know why, but I seem to get much longer times on my bixler without getting anywhere near over discharge on a 2200mAh

  • @darkergambit3129 Well, I never drain my batteries out! I use about 50% of it. Your math seems ok, however, there are some fases of flight where you drain more power. With 1800 mah you could get 30 minutes of flight if you didn't have all the FPV equipment. With the 3000 mah batteries that I was using, you could get more than 30 minutes. It depends on how you use your throttle!

  • I seem to get pretty long flights with my FPV gear on my bixler 30 mins or so on 2200 mAh ... the FPV gear doesn't really effect the drain that much. A camera and a tranny don't really do much in relation to the ESC.

  • I don't know why ... but your doing most of your stuff right as far as I can tell ... If you get a chance switch to +3000mAh batteries.

  • @darkergambit3129 On cruise speed I was spending about 4 to 5 amps. More or less!

  • @ricmaverick83 I don't know how you are getting such shitty flight times you should get about half an hour out of that ...

  • @adit1001able Hi! With all the gear that it's mounted on the plane and the motor I have, 1800 mah lasts for aprox 10 min! On the stock setup I have no idea. Regards
