Hawai`i does not need to secede from the USA, because it was never legally part of the USA. According to the US constitution, to acquire foreign land, there must be a treaty. FACT - No such treaty was ever passed in the USA to acquire Hawai`i legally.

When I was in Hawai'i there were people who were pushing to have Native American status given to the decendants of Native Hawai'ians. I thought the point of that was for tax exemption status.

The native popultion of hawaiian is so insainly tiny, it just makes no sense what so ever to give it back, anymore then it makes any sense to give the whole of america back to an itty bitty tiny group of indians sitting around sniffing glue all day. @Hawnguy100. Neither do I! Most people say that of the United States had not take us over, another country would take us over like China or North Korea. I say to them, "What makes the U.S. any different if another country took us over? It no make the U.S. any different. It would be just like any other country! U.S. is not special exception!"
