Thought about making vid too. Live just outside Phila. Made me angry to hear DE Gov declare that no one could travel, then later that PA Gov called for National Guard to help close I-76, 676,476. I almost jumped thru the TV when I heard the newscaster say :"they're going to be checking ID's, calling to verify reasons" and otherwise limiting free access to the right to travel using police and nat guard, thought right away, how odd it was that they acted like it was just another day with that.

This violates the Posse Comitatus act of 1878. Which seems to be the norm these days. They're conditioning the public to get used to seeing troops around. If anything the national guard is running around like a bunch of anarchists, and so are the criminals in our government, unrestrained by the constitution.

It's not legal. It's against the Posse Comitatus act of 1878 which limits the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement.

18 U.S.C. § 1385

Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly

authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses

any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or

otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or

imprisoned not more than two years, or both.

i was unaware that that was legal. we got just as much snow as you guys and the our police are holding it down just fine. is crime that bad up there? thats is just weird.

Well we got two feet of snow last Friday into Saturday. At the moment we are expected to get another foot. Now I would maybe be ok with this if they were just coming to help "clean up". They could come and haul the snow away in the back of a dump truck for all I care like it was dirt just to get it off the roads so that people could actually move. Nonetheless they are going to be "policing"; they can be called to help in "domestic disputes". That to me is just plain old conditioning.
