Ha ha. Yeah, NIke shoes should be cheap. But Nike has got the public by the balls ... that is ... that part of the public buying into their advertising bullshit (that their shoes will somehow make you a better athelete.) So Nike get their shoes made in sweatshops for pennies, mark them up 500% to suckers who buy into their advertising bullshit in the U.S. and elsewhere, and live off the fat of the land.
And I personally know that Nike factories have polluted local water tables in Indonesia.
