-ps. It turns out my honda jet didn't even have a gauges folder in it. lol.

I would recommend that you unistall all the service packs, and simply run fsx as it is. I do it that way, and it runs flawlessly.
OR you can install service pack 2, it should fix the issues brought by sp1

Does the g1000 work even with the standard edition?
Because you need to have deluxe to have the g1000 on the three planes.

this might be the issue. do you use deluxe? since the honda jet uses default gauges for the g1000, it might not show up
