  • Lovely! They sound very similar to St. George's, Gravesend, which were cast by Taylor's in 1923.

  • @irkibby I guess... They just werent particularly audible in the RR, I didnt listen outside so I dont know what they're like outside!!

  • @simonbellringer

St Giles in Lincoln are really quite good. one has to remember they are the oldest complete 8 in Lincolnshire (and possibly further around) cast in 1728.

  • @KDowner94 Not too hard, sorry!! Although, Shanklin are better than St Giles, Lincoln - another 18cwt 8 - they werent anything special...

  • @simonbellringer LOL, even better than the Mears 18cwt 8 at Shanklin :(

  • @simonbellringer I think so, yes!

  • @Whittingtons What, even better than the Gillet 18cwt 8 at Alton, Hants?

  • Absolutely the best 18 cwt ring of 8.

  • reizvolle, weil abwecheslungsreiche Ab-folge der Glockentöne! *****
