FFIX - End of Disc 1 - Beatrix

Here is the last fight on disc 1.

Zidane, Vivi, Freya and Quina vs Beatrix in Burmecia Throne Room.

What's up with her eye?
Music kind of sucks.

You can never 'win' any of the Beatrix fights.
Quina is an extra character here now, but middle of disc 2, it joins the party for real.
Reis's Wind casts Regen on everyone, which helps make up the fact that you have no White Mage here (but Quina does have White Wind).
I didn't need to use Mighty Guard, but since I got it, what the heck?
But see how little it lasts?
Her attacks aren't that damaging, but if your party level is low, she can destroy you.
Aqua Breath missed? Why?
She ends the fight with Stock Break.
It is possible for Stock Break to put a character in Trace (to use limits), but you don't get to use it and your gauge empties after the battle, so you lose it.

I show the cutscene afterwards, formally introducing Square's most effeminate 'guy' ever, Kuja.
Maybe's he's the first transgender villain in FF.
