Dancing in the Moonlight - Van Morrison

Here's Brad Bensko singing "Dancing in the Moonlight" by King Harvest at NTS' '08 Winter Benefit Show. This song is often misattributed to Van Morrison, but he never performed it. Though that means our title is wrong, Brad sounds like Van Morrison anyway, so we figure it is close enough. Arrangement by Harrison Kisiel.

I really liked it...sure it needs some work and smoothing out, but what a great pursuit for a group of young men. You looked like you really enjoyed it. If you get a chance to perform this again, slow it down. Rehearse it after a 10 mile run or a 2 mile swim...get everyone to mellow out and relax just a little and let this song flow out of you.

@SteelCityEndurance haha that's the most creative strategy for slowing tempo I have heard. This song was actually performed dozens of times, this just happens to be the fan vid a previous webmaster posted.

theres no such thing as a barber shop cortette anymore :(. none of them sound any good. they are either singing out of tune or timing. this group is no different. they are very out of time and too fast but im not gonna be stupid so its cool that you tried the song out cuz it really is a great one

Well I actually very much anjoyed this video and don't understand why there are so many dislikes and negative comments on it. Is it perfect? no. But these appear to be high school kids and I thought it was a great performance other than the guy who freaked out cuz the other put his arm around him. Also here's a thought about the title. You can change that but still put van morrison in the keywords. This video has enough views to be found whatever the search I think. ~Julie
