Through the use of blogs, the interaction between teacher and student has transformed from a traditional classroom environment to a web based learning environment. Students who have access to the internet become their own author, thereby stimulating their writing abilities and interest. Classroom blogs can vary depending upon the teacher and the class. Some blogs are
more informative than educational whereby parents can view their children's work and get relevant information about upcoming events and alike, as the teacher makes regular posts. Whereas other blogs are purely educational, where the students have the ability to read, write and then post their comments and thoughts as well as communicated with students from all over the world whether it is local, national or international.
