I knew that the Boxer was a good guard dog, but this vid really shows their strength and awsome power for a medium sized breed. probably the grip comes from their bullfighting ancestry, and hunting the wild boar. The dog is after all a cross between the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeiser.

most "boxers" around my area are just pitbull mixes, i dunno about other areas but yeah.... lol
