  • Not too much gray hair in all that diversity.

  • This video is very misleading! I am in upstste New York and I did evrything to get hired by GE's new and upcoming Transportation/Energy Storage Battery Plant and Mr. Tom O'Donnell head of HR rejected me and as far trying to contact this person ... forget it... he dosen't answer e-mails or phone calls. I cannot find out why I failed to gain employment there... and I tried so hard to get this position as entry level low scale hourly paying job! Hope your HR interniewers better then mine were !

  • General Electric, go out of business already.

    General Electric deathwatch starts now.

  • I too would love to be part of the GE Family! It appears each employee receives a free water cooler after completing the 6 month probationary period. Sign me up! I couldn't live without water, and those coolers look fantastic!

  • Apparently, GE's ad campaign is working, considering the enthusiastic comments about working for GE. I have no reason to be negative about GE. However, there are a lot of great companies to work for, large and small.

  • Have applied for on opening keeping my fingers crossed. 'All is well that ends well' I'd say.

  • @jomacpher Hi Jomacpher,

Because we often receive thousands of applicants for any posted position, we automatically first screen candidates based on certain criteria (which vary by position). Then a recruiter reviews those who filter through the screen. Please don't give up -- positions are posted daily at GE Careers. You can also find advice on our blog. For links to both, please Google "GE Careers" because we can't post links to YouTube comments.

    Good luck!
