  • I remember being poor and hungry in 1976 and putting on KKDJ in Fresno California for their Sunday night jazz program. When they played this song I didn't feel poor, I didn't feel hungry, ... I felt like life is good. I felt that a world in which a guy can play trumpet like this and another guy can play piano like that, ... It's a good world. It's a good life. Thank you Miles. Thank you Bill, Thank you Zedupoca for posting this here. Greg Gibbs (from Fresno but at home in Kyoto, or Portland)

  • It is music like this that reminds us all that true beauty can be created and can long exsist in this world Thank you Miles Davis. Thank you Bill Evans. Thank you both for reminding us of this eternal beauty in Blue In Green. .

  • Evans meets Davis, perfect!

  • sometimes I cry when I hear that song

  • Allegedly no rehearsal, just given some chord sequences in the studio and off they went and recorded it. Sublime, real music, from the heart.

  • @6664818GGG There is no poverty, no loneliness, no absurdity, when there is a world where worked Evans and Davis, Hancock and Hubbard, Bird and Monk . This world is full of beauty and grandeur . I want to keep this beauty in myself- every note, every sound, because only the beauty can fill voids inside.

I sympathize with you, dear Greg, this world is perfect . There is a sense to live!

  • I'm downloading this for my cat.he loves to chill out to this on his back with his paws in the air and so do I LOL.

  • I love how they play with time and change the tempo from chorus to chorus.

  • The world misses them!

  • what can I say about such brilliant music?

    I miss these guys.
