I always read that CTW's songs capture the essence of englishness. I love this tune and many others. Funny thing is I'm german, so don't hold it against me. Maybe I'm kind of an english german.

Clifford T Ward was most certainly a genius .... he was never "an upper class little shit". He was a working class gentleman from worcrstershire, england. Rest in peace sir, your music and poetry will live forever. Thank you so much!

Excellent video, lovely clips from probably the best version of Jane Eyre, and lovely slow mo of the dove, you are very talented. I had forgotten temporarily what a fantastic under-rated singer Clifford T. Ward was, until Ken Bruce played him this am. on his morning show. God bless you Cliff, and thanks for posting.x
