I liked watching the show for a different reason than most.I'm a mother of four young children and i justed turned 26!!I watch the way Kate parents her children because i kinda take notes on how she handles certain situations and i use that to help me in similiar ways.I also believe that she is a strong women and she is my role model:)

@maggienjustin I sure hope if you have a partner in your life, you do NOT treat him like Kate has treated Jon....as if he was another one of her children.
Just my opinion, but I think you need to look to someone else for your role model.

@fckualreadyaye I think the reason people think that they are "important" is because they have a very insteresting reality TV show and beacause the show beacame popular.

actually have talent to get on TV or radio??
God that seems like SO long ago.

there's no parenting guide out of university and college textbooks and even parenting shows and govt resources/drop-ins come across all "know-it-alls" that talk down to the watcher FOR SURE..theres a case to be made for nanny and teaching industry that's not sexist against men (which it definitely is to detriment of little boys growing up who need male role models) it's sad all this business about them breaking up (maybe it's all just hype for the show?)
