  • Thanks for that info shortwavelistener. I had the 2 tunes mixed up as well. I've made the appropriate corrections on my Radio Japan recording.

Congratulations on an excellent performance umdkoto !

  • Hmmmmm ...... "Kazoe Uta" is so similar to "Kojo no Tsuki", I'm afraid I've got them confused.

The ident theme used on NHK Radio Japan is in fact "Kazoe Uta", not "Kojo no Tsuki". (I'll have to pass this info on to 7772399).

By the way, that was very well performed.

    5 stars.

  • im playing the moon over the ruined castle for an audition into the northern iowa junior orchestra and played sakura sakura for a solo thingy and i love them both

  • No it's not. It's part of the culture. You can't learn/play koto without understanding the history of the instrument and likewise the stories behind the songs. Trust me, she could have talked for a lot longer.

  • Intro is way too long

  • Gorgeous!

I wish I could play the koto...

    D:

    Such a beautiful instrument!

  • Cool hair!
