  • These videos are in a word "dorky". Isn't the girl the slightest bit embarassed to look and act like that? So weird.

  • Oftentimes when creating humorous moving-picture diversions, actors are called upon to act in ways that are silly, strange, or socially awkward. It is typically understood by the audience that the mannerisms adopted by the character are not actually those of the performer, an action called "acting" (you may also be familiar with this as "pretending" or "play-acting").

  • (CONTINUING)

Through this mutual understanding between performer and audience, the actor is free to behave in ways they would not in their normal life without actually feeling embarrassed or self-conscious. These practices are common throughout entertainment endeavors, especially those meant to be comedic in nature. I suggest watching other comedy pieces and you will come to understand these ideas in time.

Good luck, and thanks for watching!

  • Ummmm.. are you serious? I'm well aware of what acting is, my friend. Best of luck in making something funny.

  • I like that Wonder Woman showed up to save the day. Is there anything she can't do?

  • LOL!

    I appreciate dorky humor. ;~)

  • A-ha! Soooo glad you cleared that up for me!
