Neil Morrissey give his opinion on American 'football' - sentiments that most of the civilised world agree with. I particularly loved the line regarding all the body armour 'it's like giving a swimmer a boat'. So true.

Come watch some real football and see how real men play. None of this pansy-arsed protection the Seppos strap on.

  • @strangeones4 with my spelling mistakes : strategy, Neil Morrissey, signed Tristan.

  • @Elburro991051 I agree, the "TV timeouts" are very annoying, especially on CBS. Yet, what the moron host, and Neil Morrisey say about the "headphone" is dead wrong. The code speak for a play whould explode the empty head of David Beckham. That's what a QB hears every play on offense. Back in the old days, it used to be hand signals. Seriously, you're mocking the intelligence of NFL quarterbacks in North America football, because they implement a different' stategy aftery every play?

  • American Football is alright, a decent spectator sport, fun tailgating. the problem with it is the constant stoppages in play due to the NFL and NCAA trying to cram in as many commercials as they possibly be can. This interrupts the pace and flow of the action and takes me out of the game at times. When the game returns from a five minute stoppage i might forget what yard line they are on or what down it is or who even has the ball. i just get bored with it at times.

  • Hey, I like 'Kids in America'! :(
