maybe you should have tried chainging the two together, the white/grey horse looks liek a good ground. I know when we broke our 3 year old to drive, we used our 23 year old "grounder" and we cahined them together, it workes well so the newbie could fish tail like the sorrel did. Good first time pull though

lmao... I think she likes pulling... i've never seen Gypsy that excited about something lol. these horses are better than 'push button' ponies! A buck makes the ride more fun and teachs you to be a better rider. Silly people.

She kicks ass, to be honest, I would prefer a spunky horse over an overly submissive one. That's too boring.

I would ground drive that horse first, they need lots of experience before they can be trusted.

trusted what do you mean? i have full trust in my horses!! ^^ that little half rear, thats all she did, mind you we rode her for like 2 hours before we hitched her so she wasn't going to do much, we also had her on the roads and going through town the same day.

Well, just be careful. Being behind a misbehaving horse in a cart is very dangerous.....and riding and driving are very different. I trust my gelding, but not to a crazy extent. For example, I wouldnt go on trails with him(until hes more trained) and I wouldnt have him pull a cart unless I had a death wish lol. but its up to you.....your horses you know them better

different breeds different training methods, i have been driving horses for a couple years now and know what can happen! this vid isn't as scary as it seems, the cart is further back, and the other horse is calm and assertive...also my horse wasn't raised walking in circles in an indoor arena or sand ring its whole life, so shes pretty open to new things!
