This is an all day celebration of the native people of Nicaragua. It took place on October 18th at Centro Alternatívo Projécto Diez Y Nueve De Julio, a K thru 9 school in Managua. The renovation of this school is being sponsored by The Nicaragua Project, a non profit organization started by singer/songwriter, Gene Cotton. Gene has been taking a team to work on this school for the past four years. They leave December 26th and return on January 3rd.
