I wish to hear the drum track(if it was ever a distinct recording or has any seperation at all)I love the rolls Mister Moon makes.Especially just before the the first verse and after the key channge where he simply cannot contain himself any longer.What a beautiful thing this is-one of my top 5 'The Who' ditties!Mister Townshend was listening to some Purcell and some Motown and perchance a little Byrds.Mister Lambert might have laid a few17th century platters on him in his avuncular capacity.

the best who album of the 60s i think its better than tommy!! a quick one is one of the landmarks in rock history and so sad should have given the who they're first no1.I also like the cover by the jam and weller and townsend doing it live

Great song from one of the best albums of all time. i Bought it on May 3rd, 1967 at Mays in Jamaica NY (the day after my high school prom) and been enjoying it ever since.
