Pam Marsh GET BACK guitar solo by Scott MacMillan

Pam Marsh is a talented native who can kick out whether it's blues, soul or rock. I shot this in the early 90's at my cousin's wedding reception. She married a musician, and, of course, there were a lot of musicians there as guests . Anyone and everyone was encouraged to come up and do their thing. Pam Marsh covers this Beatles' standard in her own inimitable style. This was a "head" arrangement, totally off the cuff... in fact, you are watching it come together as I was shooting. Scott MacMillan's flat pick solo breaks on the acoustic guitar showcase his considerable abilities as a musician who reads and writes music... when he isn't knocking out the occasional symphony . Obviously, I shot this without lights or the benefit of a tripod, so the picture quality leaves a bit to be desired. But, I hope you like the music. Pam lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
