Yup, the "poo poo" finger is a bloodied mess inside. It was also extremely painful at the time of it's smashing, but that is a different story.

Also, I would like to point out that the finger with the black nail, that I have revisited this video and saw what you are looking at, is, actually, a smashed fingernail. I encountered a snafu at work - it's not dirty, it's smashed and bloodied inside. I suppose that will gross you out even more : )
