http://www.cbssports.com San Francisco recovered a Kurt Warner fumble in the end zone in overtime, propelling the 49ers to a 37-31 win. NFL.com's Pat Kirwan, Charley Casserly, and Jason Horowitz have the recap.
'Twas great man. The redbirds gave the Steelers everything they could handle. I pray that the Cards not only earned respect despite the loss, but that they can make playoff runs and Superbowl appearances a thing of regularity. Good luck to the Vikings in the upcoming seasons as well and I'll see ya next season. Take it easy bro.
I'm really happy for Larry, product of Holy Angels Academy here in Minnesota. I'm also glad Kurt made it back to the SB, guy is a class act and plays the game the right way. His values reflect a great leader and role model for kids watching and the league needs more of that. His Hall of Fame consideration is well deserved.
You bet I will. I was just happy to witness them make it to the Conference game. January is rarely a month to watch the Cards play. The respect from the NFL world is nice to see for a change.
Anquan was disappointed that the offensive coordinator put Breaston in his place in that winning 4th qtr drive. Not that I blame either side. The coach was thinking about his injury, Boldin was thinking "I helped get us here, I want to help finish it". What can you say, Boldin is competitive and wants to win...and rightfully so, he's been with the team for so many dismal seasons.
MN, you're a class act man. You are the epitome of good sportsmanship with that statement because our rocky start when we met and simply hated on eachother. You can give me props or hate on me anyday bro. I'm a lover, not a fighter myself...so when the Vikes play the Cards again someday, we can be cool about it, eh. Thanks again man and good luck next season to the Vikings as well, afterall, they will be back.
Yeah I was just gonna say that Anquan story is unbelievable, can't believe he would act like that. What's his problem anyway? Something with the coaches?
